High Flyers Winner Our first winner of this inaugural series is Ted Masur with his yacht 'Y Knot'. Ted seems to have found the groove and has already won the last Heane's Heroes PHD series and now adds this one under his belt. A boat to watch this season. However, the High Flyers Series will no longer be run on Wednesday's. Instead it will be run on alternate Saturday's during this coming season.

Saturday Winter Pursuits The number of competing boats keeps growing and we expect another 2 or 3 to join in this Saturday. Please note that it is a requirement for each yacht to call the RBYC Race Tower to inform whether or not they intend to sail with extras. This must be done well before the start of the race. The penalty for not complying is 65,000% of your elapsed time being added on.

Trophies to be picked up - We have trophies from away club races at the RBYC office for 'Schuss' and 'Rush'.

Tip for the Week - Your mobile phone can actually be a lifesaver or an emergency tool for survival.

The Emergency Number worldwide for Mobile is 112.

If you find yourself out of the coverage area of your mobile network and there is an emergency, dial 112 and the mobile will search any existing network to establish the emergency number for you and interestingly this number 112 can be dialled even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.
