If you are new and looking to crew on someone's boat, there are usually skippers looking for crew but expect you to commit to regular weekly racing. If you lack experience, we highly recommend that you do a certified sailing course with a recognised sailing school first. Call the office on 9592 3092 for help in locating a sailing school. Once you are accepted aboard a yacht, you are also expected to join the Club as a RBYC Sailing Member. See 'Membership' on this website for details.

JUST A MINOR HICKUP (Hick 39) is looking for a person to run the mast/ halyards etc for next season 2010 /2011.

we basically do the range series (club marine series) which are about every 2nd or 3rd week, lipton cup (sat/sund in november) geelong week, association cup.

we take it pretty seriously and the person running the mast is both a challenging and key role on the boat.

please email me if you need more information peter@entire.com.au

I am looking for a female to crew on my Etchells. We sail as a four up crew and as a result of that the person that I am looking for would need to weight around 50 - 55kgs. It would be great if you do have some sailing experience preferably in dinghies however experience is not essential. What is most important is someone who is keen, wants to learn and enjoys sailing as part of a team. I am ideally looking for someone to commit to most Saturday afternoons in summer. If you are interested call Brendon Jukes on 0422 541 511 or email brendonjukes@hotmail.com

Hi,

I have recently arrived into Melbourne from Ireland. I am looking to get involved in the sailing circuit over here.

I am a qualified ISA Instructor , and have sailed/ raced most types of Dinghies as well as Sportsboats (1720 & SB3) and IRC Yachts both in national and International events.

I will be Melbourne based until Christmas and just looking to do some fun and serious sailing if possible.

Kind regards

David
