It’s easy to Discover Sailing at Royal Brighton Yacht Club (RBYC) with our sailing pathways. From your first step we are happy to work with you to help you become part of our RBYC family.
Adults are also welcome to discover sailing at our Wednesday evening twilight races. This is short course keelboat racing, followed by dinner. There is no better way to break up the working week.

Tackers is a program that aims to get more primary school age kids sailing at clubs around Australia.
Everything about Tackers is designed to help kids learn new skills and have fun through sport. The boats used in Tackers programs are small and easy to handle, designed to be sailed by children under 12. The focus is on safety, games and fun.
Sailing a dinghy can be fun and exhilarating and this program has been developed to provide a safe introduction to dinghy sailing.
Royal Brighton Yacht Club, as an accredited Australia Sailing Discover Sailing Centre, runs a wide array of dinghy sailing courses for teenagers, from the essentials skills with Start Sailing 1 to courses designed to hone racing skills.
Here at Royal Brighton Yacht Club we offer a number of options for adults interested in sailing. Whether you are keen to learn in a dinghy or a keelboat, spend an afternoon crewing with our day passes or do a full course.
