The advent of this series celebrates the growth in enthusiasm and participation of women members at RBYC over the last few years and recognises the progression from 1980 when the Assosciates Cup was first sailed. At this time, the requirement for the race was to have a female crew member aboard.Today, we have many competent and budding women skippers in our group all keen to test their skills out on the race course.The weekend is open to all sailors. Only requirements are for a female skipper with any crew mix and you must have fun!So we need –BOATS willing to participate:Encourage your existing female crew or family member to take the helm for the day or weekend and join in.Offer us your boat and we will find you a female skipper.LADY SKIPPERS put up your hand and we will find you a boat if you have not already negotiated a position.CREW & MENTORS will be needed to support the lady skippers.We look forward to a great weekend on the water.
