To all members,

As foreshadowed at our Half Yearly General meeting, we are about to embark on planning the future for our Club.

The General Committee is holding a number of planning sessions to lay out a strategy for where the Club should be in the future. We are trying to look further ahead than the next 2 years.

For your information I have  placed on the website a Discussion Paper on what we are trying to achieve.

I want to get as wide a range of views as possible to give this process the best chance of producing a good plan that will take us through the next decade.  To this end, we are happy to receive input from all members. If you could put down,  on one page and in bullet point  form, the key ideas you see as being necessary, I will ensure they receive proper consideration.

The first session lays the groundwork. If I could receive your thoughts by April 27th, that will give time for them to be circulated for consideration.  Please send the to the office, where they will be collated.

I'm looking forward to your input to this important process for the Club's future.
