RBYC SUMMER POOL COMPETITION
The summer eightball competition is on again with the object of promoting fun on the pool table and the opportunity for members to meet and make new friends within the club.
The singles winner is named on the magnificent "Pot Black" perpetual trophy which is a half-model couta boat that presently adorns the wall in the club, built and donated by Peter Coleman. There is also a perpetual trophy for the doubles champions.
Entry is open to all membership categories and is free. Entry lists are on the notice board in the club and entries close 15 February 2010.
Rules of Play:
- All heats are to be decided over one frame and final is three frames
- One shot only for foul on the break
- Two shots penalty for a foul in the play
- Can shoot back after an in-off
- Foul on the black is two shot penalty except if the black is also potted, whereby this constitutes loss of frame
Matches are to be played promptly after commencement planned to be 18 February, and the finals are to be in April.
