If you are new and looking to crew on someone's boat, a skipper that is searching for more crew then this noticeboard can be used to find the solution to your problem! Non-RBYC members please be aware you are expected to join the Club as an RBYC Sailing Member. See 'Membership' on this website for details. failure to do so can result in the boat you are crewing on being disqualified from the race!
 To improve your chances of getting aboard a keelboat, include such things in your message as:
  • Contact number
  • Email Address
  • Age/Experience
  • Availability (RBYC keelboat races are regularly conducted on Wednesdays and Saturdays)

If you would like to display a crew wanted or available message please email sailing@rbyc.org.au with the details of your ad. Messages placed on this noticeboard will be automatically deleted after a month, however you are welcome to replace your message if this occurs by emailing it though to sailing@rbyc.org.au again.

  • I am looking for the chance to be a crew member on a yacht for The Entire 2 Handed Race being run by the ORCV on Sunday 3rd May 2009.
    Regular crew on Rogue Trader B347. RBYC, YA and ORCV Member.
    Over 3,500 miles including 2 x Stanley, 1 X Hobart etc. Can do most things on boat and am looking to continue to develop my skills in particular in short handed sailing.   • CREW FOR “HOT SHOT” WANTED

    ‘Hot Shot’ , a S80 is a regular competitive racing boat sailing out of RBYC.

    We are at present short of one regular crew member for weekend sailing (mostly Saturdays).

    Whilst we would prefer to have somebody with experience, we are quite prepared to take on somebody with little or no experience, as long as they are keen and prepared to dedicate most Saturdays to active racing.
