William Angliss Youth Learning Centre run a program for socially disadvantaged youths that are not in mainstream schooling and they aged between 14 and 17. The idea of the program is to aid in the integration of youths into society and allow them to learn skills that will assist them to gain employment and open up career opportunities that may not have been previously available or aware to them.

One of the parts of the program is a Tourism awareness subject where students can learn about the various areas in the tourism industry. It is hoped by their course leader that one aspect students may be able to learn about is sailing.

If you & your boat are available on Thursday December 18 and you would like to take on-board some eager passengers please contact Sarah in the office on 9592 3092 or email: sailing@rbyc.org.au.
