Multihull Seamanship Seminar

The Multihull Yacht Club of Victoria is running a free seminar on offshore multihull safety and seamanship with Gavin LeSueur, one of Australia's most experienced offshore multihull sailors and author of the book Multihull Seamanship.

$900 Membership draw this Friday – be there!

With the pool back up to $900, yes $900, it is well worth being here this Friday at 7.00 pm. Make it an evening with a meal, and be in with a chance to scoop the membership draw, provided weekly courtesy of on-site broker Yoti and Club supplier of chandlery and safety equipment Adventure Safety.

New Members Dinner – Friday 16th May

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to an official dinner for the introduction of new members on Friday 16th May, at the Clubhouse. This is an opportunity to mingle with other members of RBYC, meet your representative Committee and take the opportunity to find out what’s going on around the yacht club in coming months. We would also encourage you to invite your proposer and/or seconder to participate in this night.

Comedy Rules Roadshow

Don't miss out on the next Comedy show at Royal Brighton Yacht Club. Date: Saturday 24th May. Time: Doors open/Dinner 7pm show starts 8.30pm. Cost: Show only $25. Show and Dinner beforehand $50. Dave O'Neil, Greg Champion, Brooksy & Cal.

Easter opening times

The Club will be closed on Good Friday 18th April. Showers and change room is of course available to members. Normal operating hours Easter Saturday and Sunday. Members Lounge will be open on Monday 21st April from 4pm – 7pm.  

Wednesday evening meals

Just because Twilight sailing has stopped does not mean you cannot enjoy dinner on a Wednesday evening at the Club. Come and enjoy a meal by the fireside on a Wednesday evening, please book with the office.

Our first BLiSS Entry!

Ignazio Parolini's Republica B8188 has become the first boat to enter this years BLiSS. Although Republica has been competing in previous BLiSS regatta's, this will be Maureen Parolini's first time as skipper. Maureen expects to have a crew mix of 5 women 4 men.
